Play shall be conducted
|

in accordance with "Rules of Golf" as approved by the R&A Rules Ltd. And the United States Golf Association and the following local rules.

N.B.: PROPERTIES ADJOINING THE COURSE ARE PRIVATE AND STRICTLY OUT OF BOUNDS - NO ENTRY
OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 27.1)
i. Beyond the nearest inside points at ground level of white stakes, or any fence, post or brick wall surrounding the course and Estate roads.
ii. The car park and any paved club house areas behind the 18th and left of the 9th green are out of bounds.
iii. 16th Hole: the dam on the right side of the fairway is out of bounds.
PROTECTION OF YOUNG TREES IDENTIFIED BY WHITE STAKE. (Rule 24 - 2)
i. If such a tree interferes with a player's stance or the area of his intended swing, the ball must be lifted, without penalty, and dropped in accordance with the procedure in Rule 24 -2b - Note exception for relief.
N.B. There is no line of sight relief where such tree does not interfere with a player's stance or the area of his intended swing.
GROUND UNDER REPAIR. (Rule 25 - 1)
As defined by the Rules of Golf and any area encircled in white or marked G.U.R.>
MOVEABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (Rule 24 - 1)
Stones in bunkers are moveable obstructions.
IMMOVABLE OBSTRUTIONS (Rule 24 -2) - Note exception for relief.
i. Artificially surfaced cart paths and roads and bridge structures which lie outside the margins of the hazard.
ii. The dirt road on the left hand side of 12th, 14th & 16th holes.
iii. General Golf course signage and distance markers.
STAKES (Rule 26)
i. YELLOW Stakes demarcate water hazards.
ii. RED stakes demarcate lateral water hazards.
iii. 15th Hole: A ball entering the dam behind the green may be dropped in the drop zone on the back left of the green, under penalty of one stroke.
N.B. - THE STAKES DEMARCATE THE MARGIN OF THE HAZARD AND ARE MOVEABLE OBSTRUCTIONS. (Rule 24 -1)
REMOVED STAKES ARE TO BE REPLACED.
INTREGAL PART OF THE COURSE (Rule 33 -2 a (iv))
Flower beds, the artificial sides and walls of water hazards, dirt roads and paths unless otherwise specified, the brick wall at the 15th Green and the retaining wall at the back of the 13th Green are integral parts of the course. The ball must be played as it lies or demarcated unplayable (Rule 28).
LIGHTNING.
The committee takes no responsibility under Rule 6 - 8(a) for suspending play in an event of a player being in danger from lightning.
A player may however, at their own discretion discontinue play when he or she believes that there is danger from lightning (Rule 6 - 8(a (ii)))
ENVIRONMENTALLY SENSITIVE AREAS (E.S.A)
Players are requested to exercise the utmost care to protect Fauna and Flora when playing from areas marked E.S.A.
