Dear Members and Residents,

Earlier this month, I was invited to play at the exceptionally prestigious Pebble Beach Golf Links on the Pro Am Tour.
Having caddied there in 2010 in the US Open, I was so excited to play the course. Set in Monterey Peninsula in Monterey County, California, Pebble Beach is a resort destination and home to the famous golf courses of Cypress Point Club, Monterey Peninsula Country Club, and Pebble Beach Golf Links.

News from your Estate Managers

Peter Hean                                         Desiree Stone
Estate One                                          Estate Two

A brainstorming session was held with strategic role-players to identify our focus and vision for the next three years. Our focus is on technical priorities, operational priorities, merger of control rooms, structures etc.

The two Estates have been working very closely together on an operational level, with joint daily security operational meetings and now share a joint radio communications channel.  Security Assessments have jointly been conducted on both Estates, and the identified container at Fairways Office Park is now in the process of being moved away from the fence line. A further meeting was held with Storage City to discuss security related issues and to ensure we work together should there be any areas of concern.

We are in the process of strategizing and implementing new patrol routes that are conducted on a random basis and incorporating new metrics and measurements in line with the fence patrols.

Excellerate has, at our request, provided a training officer who is working with both Estates, and we are working very closely to implement a training plan for the next few months to ensure that all staff on site are well trained and receive regular refresher training.

The role of Welcome Msane, will be to also identify areas of training requirements on site, in line with non-compliance or disciplinary related issues.

We have strongly implemented the Penalty Clause in the newly drafted Service Level Agreement, and although the changeover has been smooth and staff has been positive and conducting their duties, we need to ensure that this is maintained. There has been corrective action implemented and Excellerate Management has been fantastic in their approach to the new processes we are implementing to manage and maintain the level of service.
