The men's golf section has approximately 800 active golfing

members. Men's club competitions are Thursday afternoons, Saturday mornings and Saturday afternoons. The Golf Captain or a member of his committee conduct the prize givings which take place in the main bar 15 minutes after the last scorecard is handed in.
The Men's senior golf section has roughly 110 members with between 40 and 50 being active. They meet on Monday and Wednesday afternoons and Friday mornings. Their competitions are registered and organized internally with the proceeds being awarded to a charity of their own choice. A social drink and reminiscent chat about the golf round in the Boar's Head Bar sets the stage for the informal prizegiving and lucky draw.
